Theatre with Friends
Due to technical issues beyond our control and a very weak showing at the box office, we have decided to postpone "Dinner With Friends" until our 2007/2008 season starting in October of next year. The significant financial investment in the production puts us in great shape for a 2007 opening and will allow us the added time to properly fund raise and bring desperately needed staff members in to our new and fledgling company.
As you know, The Artist's Theatre Repertory Ensemble is a new non profit theatre company and is welcoming the challenge associated with new theatre ventures assuring that the arts will continue to thrive in San Jose. I would like to thank you for your time and efforts. I hope you will continue to be supportive of this new company now opening with the production of "Amahl and the Night Visitors" directed by The Artist's Theatre Repertory Ensemble's Artistic Directors, Daniel Helfgot and Barbara Day Turner.
